Railtown Brewing Company

Railtown Brewing Company
Located in Dutton, MI just south of Grand Rapids this new brewery takes its name from the railroad line that used to run through it and so the brewery will have a railroad theme. Railtown Brewing official opened December 12, 2014, the 2,500-square-foot microbrewery occupies the east end of the Village Mall strip plaza.

For the grand opening, Railtown is pouring five taps of beer out of its 3-barrel nano-brewing system. The opening lineup includes a blond ale, a brown, an IPA, a milk stout and a weizenbock. Railtown Brewery is opened by two friends with day jobs so to start it will have limited weekend hours only which also will keep them from running out of beer to sell. The taproom has seating for 50 people with space to expand. They do not sell food at Railtown however they encourage you to bring outside food to snack on. Their brewing license allows for distribution but currently Railtown beers will only be available in the brewery.

Railtown Brewing mug club memberships are $55 and include a choice of Share It (growler, 2 pint glasses, bottle opener and sticker) or Wear It (t-shirt, bottle opener and sticker), plus all the usual benefits.
