Fountain Hill Brewery
Grand Rapids Community College has its own brewery and pub, fully owned by the college, a first in the country! Fountain Hill Brewery and the taproom Pete’s Pub are located at 151 Fountain Street NE, inside the GRCC culinary building. You won’t see a huge sign out front but if you follow the signs for the Heritage Restaurant you will find the brewery. It is a completely functional brewery run by students to create job ready graduates for the ever expanding breweries locally. The brewery has limited hours but the quality of beer is great and you get to interact with students who are learning everything about breweries and the beer business. The pub can seat about 50 people and operates a 3 barrel system.
